HUTTON IN THE FOREST

Surrounded by the magnificent woodland of the medieval Forest of Inglewood, Hutton-in-the-Forest is the family home of Lord and Lady Inglewood.

Based on a Medieval Pele tower it has substantial 17th, 18th and 19th Century additions. The house contains fine collections of furniture, ceramics, tapestry and portraits.

In the grounds there are wonderful walled gardens built in the 1730’s, terraces with Victorian Topiary leading to a lake and cascade currently being restored to their previous glory. The woodland walk starts at the 17th century Dovecote and identifies over 70 varieties of tree.

Hutton-in-the-Forest hosts events throughout the year, details of which can be found on our website or by clicking the 'Events at Hutton in the Forest' link to the right.
